we are believers in this concept. when we chisel plow stalks for beans they are cleaner. side by side to a disc there is more foxtail where we disked right to the line. for corn where we plow clover/alfalfa it is pretty clean but where we chiesel plow it is nothing but weeds. I also agree on the disc being a bad decision for quack grass.
