| I haven't got a copy of our current one here in SC Kansas, but usually, moisture dockage starts at 14.5%, with 2% for 14.5-15, 3% for 15-15.5, 4% for 15.5-16, 6% for 16-16.5, etc. FM dockage is usually 1% or less, no dockage, 1-3%, is docked weight only, and 3% + is docked FM% plus 3 cents per %. Also, we usually get a 2 cent premium (wow) for clean, heavy wheat.
One local elevator in a pretty heavy rye and cheat area is docking rye and FM over 10% at %, plus graded sample, plus will only buy the grain at milo price (around 5.50 per bushel right now). I think that is correct, I don't haul there. | |
