The other fellow was right. A 3 phase idler motor will run several motors. Maybe a 40 hp idler and 25 on the blower. I have seen those on blowers under specified several times. A motor on a converter works better if you are not pulling the nuts off it. And the motor in the dryer is probably being pulled to around 17 hp. The service factor of 1.15, the manufacturer will use all of that. Especially if there is airflow over the motor.
