The more speculation the better. Can't have it only to suit certain groups. Whoever can put up their money, can play. Anyone whose traded these markets & London Markets recognizes our markets are regulated enough. It's a flow of money...bids by index, hedgers, speculators...no difference.. once filled...who knows the direction of the next order....may be more bids...or offers....follow the money...I don't see any index funds with 10,000 pct returns.......producers who sold grain at current levels or higher most likely have done better than most funds....more the better. Too much regulation & we drive the market offshore. I did extremely well since mid-2006 thru Jan 2008....doubt many index funds did as well. Now the markets are getting tough & easy for every one to get chopped up in trading markets. Funds have a very tough time in choppy markets & is why we need their $$$ & as many as they can muster.
