Subject: RE: St. Louis News Channel Story

East Central Missouri
We have been spreading sludge for close to 20 years on our crop fields. We had a similar situation with a neighbor (which was a school teacher) that thought we were spreading waste oil on our fields. She complained about how we were contaminating the soil and watershed. The EPA and DNR monitor the spreading very closely...After her last rant on the possible contamination the DNR stated that if she was so concerned about run off that they should test her drainfield for run off as well...She never mentioned the smell or contamination again. Smell only last a day or so. We tell most city people that their crap does stink despite what they may think.

Maybe all of these people in the city should just stop flushing the toilet until they can figure out another solution. Like stated earlier Recycling at it finest.
