southern MN | I'm one of those cautious types that doesn't want to plant too early. But I have some low peat bog areas that like to accumulate cold air and water and damage too early corn and bean plantings, so I think I'm justified.
On the other hand, teens of May and a person has to plant here to get done, if one can get out there. It becomes go time. We can get an early frost the end of September and heavy snow at Halloween, one has to weigh one end against the other.....
