Sure sounds weird to have some sort of debris or blockage, between injectors, in a cylinder head. With the fuel entering from the rear of the cylinder head, then it would be starving the front 4 injectors, of fuel volume, with #1 injector at the very "tail end" to get any fuel, at all.
