Subject: RE: Prevented Planting Thought

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
When a window opens up were all planting something trust me. But like 1156 and I have tried to say, you can't get it all done in one day.

In my case were not farming as many acres as we used to. I still have a 16 row planter, I can plant and put all my fertilizer on about 200 acres/day with it in good conditions. I only had 500 acres of corn to plant before June 1 last spring, I couldn't do it, and it wasn't for a lack of trying. I had it mudded up so bad before I got to the low spot last spring it took a half day with screw drivers and the pressure washer to get the depth and packer wheels to turn again. Good thing I didn't get to the low spot.

Mother natures window up Nort here has always been pretty small and it seems to be getting smaller every year.
