I planted it in the 70's and again a few acres in late 90's. Pay attention to planting depth, about 1/2 to 1 inch. Pray you don't get a hard packing rain, or crusting can occur. 50 #s of seed is enough and a fertility program would be recommended. Research how you are going to handle weed control. Good luck.
