sounds like your down in the dumps..   You do realize that even the car wash is going to fall through.  All those SUV's up on blocks. and bikes don't get washed that often.  Not looking good for your contingency plan.

    As for change,without getting political I don't see how the average Joe can take much more of the status quo.  Not that the changes we have in store will be that much of an improvement, but something should be done.... But what.  my hope is that since we use the most fuel and energy we can also control the market by usage. Problem is the price has to be high enough to curb usage. It has to happen before average folks are wiped out.  With credit cards we have to much of a lag time before they get the bill.  They might keep spending till it's to late to turn back.
