Subject: Planting with Track Tractor Headland Question

Southern Manitoba
We are new to using a planter. We are pulling a Great Plains 48 row 10" planter with an MT755D 30" belts. How do we keep our berming down without replacing our tractor? There must be other producers with 40 foot planters and track tractors. How many headlands do you make? Has anyone tried skipping rows. (we are running RTK) Do you plant your headlands after? I am concerned that the berming on the headlands will cause trouble harvesting our soybeans. I know this all seams quite silly just hoping for a little advice.
