If you are going to use it for urea every year, I would not replace the meters with flexicoils. I would look into Amity Technology and adapt their all stainless meter. I have one of their meters and plan to do just that, adapt it to my 3450 for the tank that meters fert with nitrogen when planting. It's irtually the same design as a Concord, but all stainless and actually affordable. It will just need some adaptation. If you dont want to do that sort of work, I recall Big Equipment in Havre MT had a 3450 last year that got jack knifed and bent up somehow, but I was told the tanks and meters were all good. I think there are some private folks that are working on making some stainless parts for the flexicoil meters as they are so popular, but not very resistant to corrosion. But I only read a little about them on another forum and it has been some time ago. So I do not know how that is coming along. |
