High Springs, Florida | Folks are still asking outrageous prices for homes down here and they are not selling. There is one 1200 sf doublewide modular down the road from me on 5 acres. Might be worth $95K, he's asking $189K. I was at a party this weekend down on some riverfront property that friends rented. Guy has it for sale for $350K. Yes, it's riverfront, but the place was maybe 1000 sf in horrible disrepair, kind of dirty and dank inside. Dock and deck need lots of work. I think the guy is out of his mind, or living in fantasyland.
Another place around the corner, that is for sale, which is a really nice place for $480K is down to $299K and still no takers. Been for sale for 3 years!
I could go on and on.................
