Probably won't help much but my 2 cents is try strip till corn and no till beans. Slow emerging corn turns many off from no till. Strips will help corn emerge like conventional till. I have seen studies where no till and strip till have a more moderate soil temp compared to conventional till where the temps get warmer during the day but colder at night.
