Having spent the last year and a half working on a wolf management plan draft, and using email, phone conference and regular meetings of 18 people, the regular meetings were much more productive. When you get to tough issues, email and telephone don't allow for clarity of expression. The email/phone also allows for bigger misunderstandings.
