Northeast Louisiana
We went with PTO fan because we wanted to be able to use it on smaller tractors that may not have enough hydraulics for that. Ours is 57' to cover eighteen 38" rows, but 60' is available and most common. The booms have held up well- no problems so far, and we bounce them across a lot of water furrows. It cost about $60k 2 years ago. We load it either from an auger tender or with one of the little gas powered conveyors if it's delivered in hopper bottoms.
