WC Illinois/SE Iowa | Another is the Sidekick by Raven. Headline and most (can't say all) starters don't mix. It needs to be injected after the fertilizer pump and before the manifold. At least that is the most convenient location. As far as the test plots, coming from someone that runs an independent research farm, I'd have to say it is not an adequate test because you don't know if the headline is constant thru the entire plots. As far as doing it later, I'd choose a new location and try the recommended early foliar application (V5- v6), or the late foliar if you have a high boy to apply. I don;t see strip plots with an airplane as being suitable. | |
