NW IL | Have 1/2" line and only about 50' long, so shouldn't be supply problem (small BTUs). Originally had a tank 10' away and still same problem. Now have a regulator at tank putting out 10# to just outside building, then another there drops the 10# to 2#. Have added another "appliance" regulator inside the building dropping the 2# to approx 12 inches. We get from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch variation from "off" to "heating" to "off" again. Happening for 3 seasons now. | |
