Subject: Re: Cost of Burial Plot

Soldiers Grove Wi. 54655
Interesting conversation,,
My Grandfather bought a plot which has a large headstone with the family name on it in 1929 when his wife died in childbirth, also each person buried there has their own small headstone.(except for my mother and father as they just have the one monument for the two of them).. Being single and divorced I asked my father who in turn asked his sisters if it was okay if I have my name etched into the back of the large stone that is about 5 ft x 6ft and spread some of my ashes at the base. They all said it was fine with them but I had to check with the village since they owned the cemetery... They said no problems since I wasn't putting down a new headstone.. Funny thing was the only issue came from one of my sisters that said "well I'd like to have my name on that stone too"... My dad finally told her that was ridiculous since she's married with a family and they have a plot in a different cemetery somewhere else....
