Subject: Re: Who Plants with Wass Signal

SE North Dakota
Weve used was/sf1 for around 10 years now. Plant caorn, beans, wheat, put in tile, combine. Use a rtk setup for vertical with tile, and it doesn't work for combining corn for us, but with wheat and beans works great. Diff lock helps a lot with planting. I usually use markers the last 100 feet or so when planting, helps a lot with lining back up so it doesn't wander. We use mostly atu's, old brown boxes, and starfire ITC's. I can usually round a a full setup (brown box/sf1 card, itc globe, and atu 100, with universal harness) for under 5 grand. A lot of people like the atu 200's better, but I like the 100's because I can change the steering wheel speed. The other thing that really helps me fine tune is the steering wheel freeplay.. Had a raven smart steer setup on sprayer, worked good, but dad was more comfortable with the deere stuff so its sitting in a box now.
