Subject: RE: Who Plants with Wass Signal

Eastern Iowa
I do alot, I have to pay attention and use nudge quite a bit. On my 16 row Kinze the outside planter tire follows back in the same track. It is easy to see if it is off very much or I can look back between the middle rows to see how it's doing. Over all I'd say it is better than if I was steering unless I was really trying hard. I plant mostly contours so I rarely follow the mark with the center of the tractor anyway and have to compansate for curves and sidehills anyway. Like I said, I have to keep an eye on it and nudge quite often but requires much less attention than manual steering.
