why not give him the title once he gave you the check? or was that sent once the check cleared? I would have kept the truck till the check cleared or used money order or bank check, yea I know there is NO paper totally safe even good old cash can be fake, but if he has the truck and check bounces it's up to you to try and get it back and hope he didn't screw it up. JMO Bob
