Sandy Hook, MB

Hello 730diesel

Had the same problem with my 4040 on the blower. I tried turning on the AC like the newer vehicles do when you turn on the defrost, didn't make any difference.

I solved the problem by sealing up the air recirculating vent with packing tape. Now fan only draws in dry outside air & doesn't recirculate moist air from inside the cab (my breathing, snow melting off my cloths & boots). It takes a little while longer for the cab to heat up & it doesn't get as warm as when it recirculates the heat, but at least the windows are clear. It works 100%!!!
