Montana | We built two decks for Hot tubs, one used the maintenance free and the other just 2 by lumber and we covered the treated 2 by lumber with artificial turf type carpet. I kinda like the carpet one better. Both are nice and the maintenance free deck will probably last longer.
We used treated two by tens for edge and floor joists and then filled between with pea gravel. moisture can get away and it is really solid and will be easy to remove if she decides she wants the deck somewhere else. | |
