Question though, if we mount transmitters on grain legs is there a little play from the wind? We own a cell tower but we have 3 other locations to put up to cover our farm and you know how much towers cost. We are in area with some large elevation swings so our sheds are not an option. Need at least 100 ft structures to cover area? What's your experience or anybody else?

Unless you're on a something like a concrete grain elevator, I would install your base station on the ground. Here in central Iowa, I know that RTK of Iowa (http://www.rtkofiowa.com/) is installing their antennas on grain elevators and water towers but installing their base stations on the ground.
