I have cereal rye ahead of corn. It was terminated 2plus weeks ahead of planting so far no noticeable difference. Here are the results of a survey done with 700 plus farmers in the Midwest showing a 10% increase in yield last year with cover crops.http://www.northcentralsare.org/CoverCropsSurvey
