I have found Dan Undersander at UW has a lot of useful information and test results in several publications. One of his comments was that leaving a wide thin swath was as important as conditioning in his dry down tests. In the New Holland video I linked to above they had actually taken the sheet metal off the back of the discbine and put some vanes in. I am thinking of taking the sheet metal off the back of my JD. Has anyone done this? Jim |
