First, do you get the two red warning screens when you start the system? If not, the 500 is not seeing the nav. The 00000000 in the firmware is for the nav not the 500. When you turn the system on, the alarm should sound when the nav boots up. If it does but the 500 does not see the nav you have a comms problem, check for broken wires or pins pulled from connectors.
Trimble 500 won't engage.
