Problem isn't with pulling the Ntrip strings. Problem is with just acquireing sats and getting a position figured out.
It appears too me that starting the antenna is the last thing the system does when first started, so everything boots up and is ready, then the antenna slowly starts tracking sats and will converge. I can't remember the line it is on, but you have to wait until the converge is 100% before you connect NTRIP on my Geosteer, then it is within 30-60 seconds I am on RTK fix. If you connect before you get 100% converge, you are screwed and restarting the entire system seems faster than waiting. I told a few last fall that it took forever to converge on WAAS and they was like, huh, never heard that before. I think I timed it and it was like 8 minutes one day this spring. Not a day killer, but still. Start system, go fill or grease or fuel or do windows or whatever. Seems faster than last fall though.
