ecmn
get an impliment switch put on or set it a little sooner. i dont think it matters whos system you are usings? with my rawson and integra i very seldom see a seed on the headlands, i start lifting a few feet before the planter hits the headland, by the time the planter gets to the headland the swith is tripped and seed flow is stopped.

if you have row clutches then you can make the terrace's a boundry and then set the look ahead turn off time so the swath control shuts them off at the right point.

when making headlands where i just drive to a corner then stop i flip the master switch off by hand a second before i stop. get turned around and set planter down, turn on switch and start moving slow, it takes a second to get going, if i take off at 5 mph vs take off at 1-2 mph is a very noticable difference on the screen, at 5 mph there is a gap, at 1-2 there isnt any.

hydralic drive vs the old chain system on my planter you can pry the hydraulic from my dead hands before i go back to chain drive. i can flip population on the go as i see fit to changes in the field, i can plant at any population, if a customer wants 27500 thats what he gets, if i want 33800 thats what i get. no corn stalks, rocks, mud jumping chains off, no mud or dry sand slipping wheels causing eratic or in accurate seeding. no turning to the right and have population almost stopping, or turning to the left and having population jumping way up.
