I've read but don't know that after age 76 they aren't going to treat you for cancer.
Our current Prez. did suggest at a campaign stop it might be better to give an old person a "pill" rather than the heart surgery they needed.
There is no specific regulation anywhere concerning this, but looking into the future when we have more or complete government funded healthcare, it will have to be looked at. We simply won't be able to afford to give everybody all the care they want. It is just simple math. The best thing to prevent this is make people more responsible for their own medical care, and they will take better care of themselves. And make better financial decisions about their future.
We are going the opposite way. Requiring more care, and less responsibility. |
