They are both old tractors and both old enough to have one of those $25000 years when they visit the shop for a half dozen major issues. Unless this is a want thing, Id keep what I had. $25k shop bill on either a 50 series IH or 40 series Deere? Probably time to do your own wrenching on two pretty easy-to-maintain tractors with a whole bunch of salvage and aftermarket parts available. |
