A couple of thoughts:

(1) You can run a "serial to usb" converter and feed in GPS from your ParaDyme or any other receiver that has a DB9 serial end on it. On Amazon search for "serial to usb" and you will find lots of options. I use a model from Trendnet. Cost is <$20.

(2) If you don't want to be physically connected the receiver you could run a serial to bluetooth converter and connect your recevier via bluetooth to the tablet. If your tablet doesn't have BT, you can buy a cheap usb bluetooth dongle. I use a serial bluetooth converter from Sena called "Parani-1000" with good success. Price on serial to bluetooth converters varies anywhere from $50-$100

(3) Finally you could also run a simple USB GPS dongle and plug it directly into the table. I have used one from "GlobalSat" with ok success. The accuracy will not be nearly as good as your Paradyme but they are small and will work for basic scouting purposes.
