In April we've had somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 feet of snow total along with 1" + of rain. Several of the snow storms did the wind breaks and road ditches more good than the fields but with standing residue on most of ours even the wind blown stuff helped. Soon as you get as little as 20 miles south of us it gets alot dryer.
