Iowa | I have a new 1800 display and 3000 reciever I bought last winter that I am trying to update to current software. Everything is installed in the tractor and I am using a usb device. After the status bar starts to fill during the update on the display, an error comes up that says "communication with applications electronic control unit has been unexpectedly lost". So I unplugged the reciever and tried again with success and got the display to update. I plugged the reciever back in (so it could be updated), inserted the usb, and once again after the status bar starts up, the same comm. error appears. After this happens, I have to unplug and plug in the reciever before the display will recognize it again. Thanks for any ideas Also if it helps, The current reciever software is 1.40 and I'm trying to install 1.70 I believe.
