Indiana | This year I'm switching to UAN instead of NH3 for side dressing. The plan is to put down 30 units of N with the planter (dry) and come back and side dress the remaining N. Also, the 28-0-0 will be knifed in.
My question to everyone is, what are you adding to the 28 as an N stabilizer? After reading and listening to salesmen talk, I couldn't see going without one. But after thinking more about it, would I actually be tying up the N keeping it away from the crop at a point when it is needing it? | |
