| Up here, guys who planted DPL 1137 pn lighter soils loved it. If you like DPL varieties. Myself last year planted 912 on about 600 acres and about that much 1133. I will plant most all in 1133 for I think it is hard to beat. That being said my highest yield was with my PHY 499 that I planted on my pigweed ground. I think that this will work for you to, or with your long growing season go with 1137. If you got pretty good ground I don't know about 1137 for it will get out of hand unless you are willing to stay on top of it with pix. DPL 912 is good but grade and yield will be a drag compared to the newer varieties. My 1133 and PHY had range of 36 and 37 staple and that is what buyers like. I'm not saying not plant 912 but I think you will be much happier with the newer var. | |
