we did it for a couple years with a 7000 if I remember right you only get like 70 pounds an acre. But mechaniclly it worked fine. Same set up 5 gallon of go go in trench through keetons, all n put down 4 inches off the row. and the pell lime right in the trench. Now on new ground, old pasture, strip ground we'll spread 500lb with a buggy, burn it off with herbicide and plant corn. The following spring we plow it up and disc in p&k and lime then back to no till. edit just reread your post some my ramblings aren't relevant. Did you try cps or helena in warriors mark? pretty sure they can get pell lime. let me know if you need a number
