NC Indiana
On our farm, the weak spots (low yielding areas) are where the greatest increase have come. Very low CEC's and OM sands, so low nutrient holding, so more spoon feeding, more micros, cover crops, no-till, manure, smart-till where we run cattle on stalks, irrigation, and keep our tiles washed out on your muck/peat soils. That's how were attacking the situation on our farm. Sulfur, zinc, and boron are 3 micros that really showed they were limiting us. Irrigation was our next best yield bump on whole field basis.
