Iam from wone of the roughest parts of the country for winters (ne Ia) I know snow.Cattle will thirst to death if all they have is snow for h20. Cant eat it fast enough no moisture.



That's down right funny. Take a look at a map. There's many states north of you with winters much rougher than yours. I've been to Iowa in Jan, Feb, and March. "Roughest winters" would be a relative term.
