Not trying to poke anyone in the eye...... But the folks in Iowa, illinois, Indiana have not one clue what a drought is.......... They had a marginal hit last year. No offense guys. Especially long term i.e more than a year..... When the corn belt guys get 3 or 4 in a row of crop failures in a row then the rest of us will cut you some slack on talking about drought. When you guys harvest a 100 acre field of corn and average 7bu/a let us know. Or cut 100 acres of beans and not fill up half a bin on a 7720. Or whatch the yield monitor on flatline from one end of the field to the other for hours. When you can look across a hundred acre corn field in the middle of July and see across it to the other side......... Through the corn........ When it was planted on 4/10...... Sorry guys.... Some of us have been down this road for real. after the 3rd straight year you find out what you are truly made of, because I don't wish it on anyone.
