Houston County, GA | I planted maybe a 1/4 last year and sold maybe three truck bed loads on the road. This year I'm doing a 1/2 acre and got more knowledge on how to get better yields. Watermelon is fun to grow and harvest small scale. I say stick to Crimson and Jubilee like the guy said in the post. I prefer to plant transplants so they have better chance of making it. I'll post some pics when I lay plastic, probably gonna plant March 15th- 20th. | |
