sw mn | Have done it on a few fields that were tiled in spring in very damp conditions that were a lumpy mess after planting. Worked good but Id be hesitant on doing it in bean stuble where there is very little trash to keep it from blowing. Atleast around here a little shot of rain to get the surface right and it will start blowing the first wind you get. Then you gotta hit it quick with the hoe. Best is to get the job done with the planter as far as getting good trench closing and firming the dirt around the seed. | |
