North Central Oregon
Turning dry here in my area of the Northwest. After decent moisture in November and December the rain has shut off and we have had .29 in December and .02 so far this month. Kicking up dust in the fields. Supposed to be getting up into the high 50's low 60's in the next few days. Already heard of some Spring Wheat and Barley being planted into summer fallow that was not seeded last fall. I am looking at starting my gyphos spraying on some spring barley ground I am going to be no-tilling in the next week or so. No danger of getting stuck this spring.
Have talked to a few others in different locations here in the Northwest and though not yet dire, moisture is starting to become a concern.
