It sounds like the new guy will be busy. While he is pushing trees, maybe you can be planting. It is a let down when your so close to picking up a new piece of ground and then the "other guy" comes along. I found out years back too, that it is better to agree with what the new landlord wants and make it work. I did not get that piece either.
