If that plant is in the area that was hardest hit by drought then its not very surprising that it was shuttered. Poet can shift production to its other 25 ethanol plants if they're running at less than max capacity. Looks like Poet is going to invest a bunch of money into that Macon, MO plant while its shut down. Sounds like a smart mgmt decision.
