ezzard ..........you could very well be right.......but.........another way of looking at it ,I think the 4.50 futures price should be about right if all the ifs come together.Soooo that means we have a 1.40$ weather premium built in this market.Maybe thats why risk managment is not built around hitting a home run,nor should it be panick selling.JMO.
I am certainly not against getting a floor under things sometime this spring. There is no way in hell I will sell hard into spring with no upside and no crop made. There were too many farmers who learned last year why most of us don't sell a large percentage of physical bushels before they're harvested. I am more inclined to use the board since I can adjust my positions and wait on post harvest basis strength. |
