Maquoketa, Iowa 52060 | 2 Miles? Surveyors and contractors use base stations all the time that are 10+ miles away for good vertical. The issue may be the Leica network like we have in Iowa not doing great vertical. However, if you switch to single base you should be good for at least 10 miles, easy, but 30 miles is too far.
Also, if you are going to setup an internet base station setup an N71 and join the MyWay RTK Network. Or see if you are close enough to the SignalOne Network which covers parts of IN into Ohio.
