I am planning for bearish and if it turns out bullish well that would just be awesome.   As to your quote:

Point is $7 corn has the same purchasing power as $2.85 corn did 7 years ago, so I why all the excitement about $6 Dec.13' corn?           

       I'm excited because I didn't go out and buy that 275K tractor or that 10-20K land to run my operation.  I did buy plenty of high priced fert...,   I do have good equip and bought land before things got wild.   Therefore,  at these levels you should be able to get your house in order and for those that don't it might get kinda rough when we go back to pre-08' levels....

An old timer said once,   "have you ever met a farmer that made all his money in one year",  his point to me was to be consistent, take small profits and safety up when you can.....
