S.E. Sask.		I had a skunk get caught in the live coon trap this fall. We don't have enough of them to be a pest so I wanted to let it go alive if possible. Maybe I was just lucky but I was able to slowly and carefully use a couple of long sticks to open the trap hoping this would keep me out of range if it did get a little defensive. The skunk ran off without leaving a scent. Takes time and patience though. Not sure if I'd have that much patience again.
